With a perfect 100% passing rate in the November 2024 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (PNLE), the College of Health Sciences (CHS) of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-Iligan Institute of Technology (²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT) was recognized as one of the top-performing nursing schools in the Philippines during the Oath-taking Ceremony held for new nurses on January 7, 2025, at the Atrium, Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
An award was presented to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT and was accepted by CHS Dean Abdullah Junior S. Mangarun, acknowledging the college’s outstanding achievement in the November 2024 PNLE, which took place on November 9 and 10, 2024. Seventy-two examinees from ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT successfully passed the exam, contributing to the school’s remarkable 100% passing rate.
PNLE passers also took their oath. Dr. Elizabeth C. Lagrito, a member of the Board of Nursing, served as the keynote speaker and oath-taking administrator.
Attendees at the ceremony included topnotchers from Region X, presidents of various specialty groups, chief nurses from different hospitals, nursing college deans, past presidents of the PNA-Misamis Oriental (Region 10), chapter presidents, past governors of PNA-Region X, members of the PNA Board of Directors, and the PRC director of Region X.
