²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT Cats Arnis Team clinches 24 Medals at nat’l tournament

The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø- Iligan Institute of Technology (²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT) Cats Arnis Team successfully clinched a total of 24 medals, including 3 gold, 10 silver, and 11 bronze, during the 88th Araw ng Dabaw Migz Zubiri National Arnis Kali Eskrima Tournament held at Davao City-University of the Philippines Sports Complex Training Gym on March 29-30, 2025. 

The event is participated in by over 30 arnis teams from across Mindanao and the Visayas, including participants from Davao City, Iligan City, Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Sarangani Province, North Cotabato, and Iloilo. The competition featured both individual and team events across different weight divisions, including the full contact “Padded Stick” category, where ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø IIT Cats athletes excelled in various divisions:

The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø IIT CATS Arnis team’s success at the 88 Araw ng Dabaw Migz Zubiri National Arnis Kali Eskrima Tournament has indeed further cemented their reputation as one of the rising arnis teams in the region.
