On February 26, 2025, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT welcomed 150 newly recruited and promoted employees as they took their oath of office at the PRISM Conference Hall in ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT.
The ceremony included 99 faculty members, many of whom filled positions from the 100 additional faculty items approved by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) last year, and 51 administrative staff members. Hosted by the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), the induction ceremony was attended by Prof. Alizedney M. Ditucalan, University Chancellor, Atty. Yaslani B. Bantuas, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, staff members, and the newly hired and promoted faculty members and staff, who affirmed their commitment to the university’s vision, mission, and core values.
The event started with a welcome message from Atty. Bantuas, who expressed his gratitude to all who took part in the competitive hiring procedures and extended his congratulations for braving the process. Chancellor Ditucalan followed, acknowledging the hard work and commitment of everyone in attendance. He emphasized the pivotal role of faculty members and highlighted the efforts of the employees working on the sidelines, and how their service contributes to the efficiency of the operation process in the university.
After the oath-taking ceremony, a comprehensive orientation was conducted to discuss the different HR processes, viz.: (a) Recruitment, Selection, and Promotion Process; (b) Performance Management System; (c) Learning and Development; (d) Rewards and Recognition; (e) Leave Benefits; and f) Payroll Process and Other Benefits.
