Be and expert in the conceptualization, design and development of electronic, computer and communication products, systems, services and processes.
A combination of electrical engineering and computer science, this curriculum provides students with a foundation in basic science, mathematics, and software engineering.
Develop you knowledge in the generation and utilization of electricity for industrial, commercial, and residential purposes.
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Automation and Mechatronics program, being multidisciplinary, aims to prepare the students to be multi-skilled technologists who are familiar with electronics, electrical, computer, robotics, mechanical, and fluid power technology. The program is the first and only in the Philippines since its implementation in 2007 and has already attained the Institute’s vision on internationalization and being at par with ASEAN universities. It produces students who are consistently selected as delegates of the Philippine Team to represent in the World Skill–ASEAN Competition in Mechatronics, an event held every two years. In the recently concluded World Skill-ASEAN competition held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2016), the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT Mechatronics Team was the Bronze Medalist.
Technology and skills development on electronics and communications systems and applications, but not limited to Full-Custom IC design layout, circuit assembly, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, instrumentation, and control. Specifically on determination of proper tools and equipment on any electronics components and systems.
Develop a strong understanding of key competencies in circuits, controls, power and machinery and technical documentation. Students can gain hands-on practical knowledge in electrical engineering. Moreover, able to understand and translate electrical engineering design into an effective solution.
