A 44th Charter Day celebration message from Chancellor Sukarno D. Tanggol

When the call was made to organize once again into the various committees
that would ensure ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT's was
celebrated, no one thought it too much of a request. In fact, the response
was automatic.
That--to me--was a testament to the loyalty and pride ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT constituents had for their alma mater, employer, community partner, and friend.
This Charter Day, I would like to draw attention to the people who work tirelessly and selflessly behind the scenes, so we may remember--not so much the "what," but the "why" of it all.
On this 44th Anniversary of the founding of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT, I say thank you to the heads and members of each of these committees, and extend a hand of welcome to our .
The march towards world-class excellence is aided greatly by timely stops where we acknowledge our past achievements and successes, rededicate ourselves to the purpose for which ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-IIT was created. It is my hope that you also find this stop--on the occasion of the founding of our beloved Institute--as energizing as I have to enable us all, together, to meet the challenges of the future.
