Project Title: Experimental Investigation on Microfluidics-Based Chemotaxis of Physarum polycephalum
Project Leader: Rosario L. Reserva
Duration: 11 months (February-December)
Salary: Php 15,208.80/month

QUALIFICATIONS/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree graduate, preferably in physics or biology;
  • Knowledgeable in handling and subculturing of multinucleated cells;
  • Capable of designing and fabrication of 3D structures for microfluidics experiments;
  • Knowledgeable in image processing tools for data analysis;
  • Knowledgeable in using data analysis and presentation software;
  • Submit and follow-up Project Procurement Management Plus (PPMPs) and Purchase Requests of needed supplies reflected in the approved LIB to concerned offices;
  • Perform experiments and analyses;
  • Process travel and training related documents and liquidation expenses;
  • Submit quarterly and terminal reports of the project on time;
  • Participate and present results in regular meetings;
  • Perform other tasks related to the project as assigned by the Project Leader.
