QUALIFICATIONS/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (or a closely related course)
• Preferably with experience in designing a mobile application
• Preferably knowledgeable and has a skill in computer programming
• Assist in organizing the collected linguistic data in a structured database suitable for integration into a mobile application. This involves data entry, categorization, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface for the mobile application. This may include creating design mockups, and user flow diagrams.
• Assist in ensuring the authenticity and correctness of the Hiligaynon content within the application. This includes verifying word meanings, spellings, and grammatical aspects.
• Participate in the testing phase of the application to identify bugs, user interface issues, and areas for improvement from a linguistic perspective.
• Incorporate feedback from test users, language experts, and team members into the application development process.
• Regularly report on progress and findings to the project leader or team. Prepare presentations or reports if required.
• Assist in processing the procurement of office supplies and equipment needed in the study.
• Ensures that the mobile application is linguistically accurate, culturally appropriate, and technically sound.
