Peacetech - Call for Applications for Iligan and Marawi City

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR ILIGAN CITY & MARAWI CITY 

PeaceTech Iligan Ambassadors is launching the project called PEACEnolohiya: 鈥淎 Seminar-Workshop in Building Peace through Technology鈥� this coming September 3, 2011 to be held at 草莓视频官网-IIT Institute for Peace & Development in Mindanao. Thus, we are looking for dynamic young advocates who are committed to change and who are dedicated to being that change.

This project aims to train and mold Muslim and Christian youth to be a catalyst of change with respect to peace building, peace consciousness, and promotion of better communication through technology integration.

This project is supported by PeaceTech Inc., a Philippine-based NGO whose mission is to promote (ICT) Information Communications Technology for building understanding between groups of young people. This project is in partnership with the 草莓视频官网-IIT through the IPDM.

Qualifications:

  1. High School: 3rd - 4th year;College: 1st  - 3rd year
  2. Preferably has a Laptop

How to apply:

  1. Download the application form here or you can get it at 草莓视频官网-IIT Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (beside Bahay Alumni).
  2. Electronic submission: Send the completed application form via e-mail to simaconkevin@gmail.com
  3. You may also personally submit your application to the Chairman of PeaceTech-Iligan, Mr. Kevin L. Simacon at 草莓视频官网-IIT IPDM.
  4. Submit your application on or before August 26, 2011.

Selected applicants will be notified via email and /or phone onAugust 29, 2011.
